Welcome everybody! This blog is a glimpse into my world of photographic art and the passion I have for capturing moments in people's lives and their personalities. I consider myself to be one of the most fortunate people on this earth, because I get to live out my dream of sharing with others my vision of what I consider to be all the little (and big) details in life.
For me, it will always be more than just taking photos and producing beautiful imagery. It's capturing the essence of you and your loved ones during some of the most important times in your lives. Family, friends, and the relationships I get to share with the many amazing people that I meet is considered to be the most important part of my life.
Through viewing my blog, I hope that you get a chance to find a little bit more about the person that I am and experience some of the fun and exciting visuals that pass my eyes! Feel free to wander around the blog, as well as the website and I hope you enjoy the imagery as much as I enjoyed experiencing them.
Phillip LaRue of BCE Recordings and Noah Carlson of Voda Films recently collaborated and filmed the music video, Chasing the Daylight. On day one of the video shoot, I had a chance to get to meet the entire band and document what was a beautiful set in the middle of a vacant field in South Florida. It turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day and it was great to watch Noah and his crew work during the filming of the music video. It’s amazing to be surrounded by so much talent and finding inspiration in other people’s music and visual creativeness. Getting to meet and work with good-hearted people and having the ability to express your own creativity is something that I’ll never grow tired of. Thank you Phillip, Noah, and the entire set crew for letting me peek a little into your world of music and positivity.

Hanging out in Vegas at the WPPI Trade Show, we stumbled upon a few guys who had a booth there and it proved to be a 10 on the fun factor. The crew at Tofurious is a group who loves to shoot weddings, eat tofu (not simultaneously I hope), and has setup an online network to help answer questions for upcoming photographers in the business. That day, we got to play around in their digital photo booth and take a break (at least for a moment) from all the craziness at the show.

Is my vision really that bad?? No wonder I’ve needed glasses since elementary school. Good thing corrective lenses were invented, otherwise this whole photography thing may not work out for me so well!

So the other week, Palm Beach International Raceway held their Historic Races where I was able to catch up with a friend of mine, Gunnar Jeannette, who I skydive with when I get a chance. Besides participating in his somewhat normal hobbies of rock climbing and base jumping in his spare time, Gunnar’s daily grind at work involves donning his suit, meetings with the team, and filing TPS reports (just kidding). With such attention from being featured in People Magazine, having been the youngest finisher in Le Mans history at age 18, to actually being a character that you can race as in a Microsoft XBox game, Gunnar remains humble and emphasizes to me how much he loves his job. I remember him tell some friends and I, “I have the best job in the world. I wake up, eat breakfast, then go out to the track and drive my Porsche as fast as I can all day!”. Definitely no arguement there.
I want to say thanks so much to the Gunnar Racing Team and Klub Sport for letting me hang out for a couple of hours at the track with you. Being it my first time out at a racetrack like that, it was fun experiencing a little bit of what you all do in the world of competitive racing. Best of luck at Sebring!!

Kristen’s little girl, Bo, is the new addition to her household. So fun and ultra-hyper! Being a baby at three months, it doesn’t matter if you’ve run and exercised the dog before our shoot. Bo definitely will spontaneously explode at all times and isn’t my most cooperative subject, but she’s just too adorable!!
